Pastor Steve & his wife Jennifer have been serving full-time in churches for over 22 years. A native Iowan, Steve met Jennifer, a proud Texan, while in college. They have been married 27 years and have 4 sons: Jonah, Eli, Titus and Micah. Steve’s passion has been to disciple & model leadership to his family and men within the church and community. They enjoy marriage “coaching”, antiquing and watching their boys play sports. God has created a unique burden for an urban, multiethnic, multigenerational church plant in Des Moines.

I hail from Colorado, and thus am always called back to the mountains. I am married to Lisa Kirkpatrick and have 3 amazing kids: Landon, Jude, and Emmeline. My professional career has always involved people, through sales and management. More recently I have worked as a youth leader and 2nd grade teacher in Bondurant, Iowa.
